In Haiti, 170,000 trees of various species in nurseries

Since 2019, Reforest'Action has partnered with the Haitian NGO Agrinotech to carry out an agroforestry and reforestation project in the region of Saint-Michel de l'Attalaye, in the north of the country. The young trees are currently in nurseries and will be planted during the summer.

1 million trees for Tanzania: the report of our mission on the field

In mid-February, a Reforest'Action team went to Tanzania to carry out an audit of our reforestation project. The objective of this mission? To exchange with our local partner Friends of Usambara, to monitor the trees already planted in the field, to record environmental, economic and social indicators, and to meet the local communities to continue to develop our project alongside them.

In Brazil, local communities reduce deforestation through agroforestry

Together with the NGO Rioterra, Reforest’Action operates in the state of Rondônia, the most impacted by deforestation in the Amazon. The objective is to reduce deforestation through agroforestry as well as to restore segments of previously degraded forests. Between September and December 2019, up to 35.000 trees were planted on the spot by the local communities.

In Haiti, our goal of 200,000 trees planted has been reached!

At the end of 2018, Reforest'Action initiated a cashew tree planting programme alongside the local association OJUCAH. More than a year after the launch of the project, all the trees have been planted on the site. A great success achieved thanks to your online planting!

Amazon emergency: reforestation in action!

While Amazonia has been suffering from major fires for several weeks and the G7 has recently offered its assistance to Brazil, Reforest'Action is today launching #ReforestAmazonia, a major reforestation campaign. Objective: reduce deforestation and restore forests degraded by burning in Rondônia State, the most affected by deforestation in the Amazon.
